Brand systems for beauty & service-based businesses who've outgrown one-off graphics.

I build reusable brand systems coordinated sets of social posts, flyers, and assets your business can customize and reuse without hiring a designer for every post.

Branded template systems

Multi-asset kits built in Canva so clients can customize and reuse them long after handoff.

Real projects, real clients

Newsletters, flyers, and menu design delivered for paying clients.

A note on how this work is labeled: the template kits in the section above are self-directed concept work, built to demonstrate system design — not commissioned by the businesses pictured. Everything in this section was completed for paying clients.

Fig. 03 — How it works

From brief to kit

A straightforward process built for small teams without a design department.

01

Scope the kit

A short call or form to map out what you actually need on repeat — social posts, flyers, menus — so the system fits your real workflow, not a generic template list.

02

Build the system

I design the full set in Canva with shared colors, type, and layout logic, so every piece reads as one brand even when used separately.

03

Hand off & edit

You get editable files and a short walkthrough, so your team can swap copy, dates, and offers without coming back to me for every post.

Meet Sam

Portrait of Sam, founder of Blueprints by Sam

Hi, I'm Sam. I design reusable brand systems for small businesses that are tired of piecing together random Canva templates. I got into this niche because I've seen how much beauty and wellness businesses run on visuals, a client decides whether to book you before they ever message you. My goal is simple: create branding that saves you time, looks professional, and grows with your business.

About the Designer

Absolutely — you can browse real client case studies and brand concept work throughout the sections above, including work across hospitality, food service, and publishing, plus beauty and nail brand concepts built specifically to show what that style looks like in my work, since I know this industry runs on visuals. If you're one of my first official clients in the beauty space, you'll get extra hands-on attention as a flagship project.

What makes your design style different from other designers?

I focus on systems, not one-off graphics. Instead of handing you a single flyer or a random Canva template, I build you a cohesive brand kit — colors, fonts, templates, and voice — so everything you post, print, or send looks like it came from the same intentional brand.

It's also worth saying: you can find a pack of 100+ templates on Etsy for $12. The difference is that those are generic — built for no one in particular. When you work with me, every design is built around your brand and your input at each step, not a template you're left to figure out alone.

About the Brand Kit
What's included in a brand kit?

Every project starts with the essentials: a primary and secondary logo plus submark, a color palette with exact hex codes, and font selections — all wrapped up in a one-page brand guide so it's easy to stay consistent. Larger packages build on that with print collateral, digital assets, and social templates (see the packages above).

Why do I need one if I already have a logo?

A logo is one piece of a brand — not the whole thing. Without a system around it, most business owners end up mixing five different fonts, three shades of the "same" pink, and Canva templates that don't quite match. A brand kit solves that by giving you a toolbox: everything already matches, so you're never guessing.

How will this help me attract more customers?

People decide whether to trust a nail tech, makeup artist, or esthetician before they ever sit in the chair — usually by scrolling your Instagram or landing page for five seconds. A polished, consistent look signals professionalism and quality, which directly affects whether someone books or scrolls past.

Will everything be customized to my business and existing branding?

Yes — everything is built around your brand colors, your services, and your voice; these aren't generic templates with your logo slapped on. If you have existing colors, a logo, or a look you love, I build around that rather than starting from scratch. If your current branding is inconsistent or dated, I'll refine it while keeping anything your regulars already recognize.

Can I edit the templates myself? What software do I need?

Yes. Templates are typically built in Canva (free version compatible) or Figma, depending on what suits your project best — no special software or design experience needed on your end. You'll always have full ownership and editing access, and I'll walk you through how everything works before we wrap up. You'll receive editable Canva/Figma links, PNG/JPG exports for immediate use, and PDF or vector (AI/EPS) files for anything going to print.

About Social Media
What would you create for Instagram or Facebook?

Post templates for services, promotions, and testimonials; story templates (before/afters, booking reminders, price lists); highlight cover icons; and a consistent grid style so your profile looks cohesive when someone lands on it — all built to be swapped and reused, not used once and thrown away.

How many posts or templates are included?

Starter Brand Kit: 1–2 Story templates + a 3-Post Instagram Grid Spread. Business Brand Kit: 4 Story templates + a 6-Post Instagram Grid Spread + highlight icons. Full Brand Identity: 6 Story templates + a 9-Post Instagram Grid Spread, plus everything in the Business Kit. Need more or fewer than what's listed? Packages are flexible — just ask.

About a Website Revamp
How do you evaluate and improve an existing website?

The most common issues I see are outdated design that doesn't match your current branding, no clear "book now" call-to-action, poor mobile display, or slow load times — if you're not sure what's holding yours back, send it over and I'm happy to take a look. From there I start with a short audit, then rebuild around three things: a clear first impression, an obvious way to book, and design that matches your social media so the whole experience feels like one brand, with mobile-first layout since most of your clients are finding you mid-scroll on their phone.

Will it help me get more customers or rank better on Google?

A clean, fast, mobile-friendly site with clear service pages and consistent business info absolutely helps your local SEO — showing up when someone searches for a nail salon, makeup artist, or esthetician near them. I'm not an SEO agency, but good structure and updated content are foundational to ranking — and I'll set that foundation correctly.

Do you write the content, or do I provide it?

A mix — I'll draft copy based on a short questionnaire or call with you, then you review and tweak so it still sounds like you. If you already have strong copy, I'll design around it.

Pricing & Process
Are there payment plans?

Yes. Every project starts with a 50% deposit to begin work. I'll send the first draft for your review, make any requested changes, and once it's finalized, the remaining 50% is due before final files are delivered.

What's your turnaround time?

Turnaround times vary by package:

Starter Brand Kit: 5–7 business days

Business Brand Kit: 10–14 business days

Full Brand Identity: 3–4 weeks

Brand Identity + Website Design: 4–6 weeks

Timelines begin once the onboarding questionnaire, deposit, and all required materials have been received. Client response times and revision requests may affect the final delivery date.

How many revisions are included?

2 rounds for a Brand Kit on its own, or 4 rounds if it's bundled with a website rebrand. Extra rounds beyond that can be added if needed.

What happens if I don't like the first design?

That's exactly what your included revision round is for. After your deposit, I send the first draft, you tell me what's working and what's not, and I make those changes before anything is finalized. You're never asked for the remaining balance until you're happy with the direction.

Do I own everything after the project is finished?

Yes. Once final payment is made, the final logo files, templates, and brand assets belong to you.

Working Together
What do you need from me to get started, and how much time will it take?

A short onboarding form or call covering your services, target clients, any existing brand assets, and a few accounts or websites whose vibe you like — usually 20–30 minutes, plus quick feedback at 1–2 review checkpoints. I handle the heavy lifting; your job is mostly reacting to drafts.

What if I don't have professional photos?

Phone photos are perfectly fine. I'll let you know if anything needs replacing and can recommend affordable options.

How do we communicate during the project?

Mainly email, with a Zoom call if it's helpful — usually when we're first setting things up and again at final turnover.

Do you offer support after the project is finished?

Yes — I'm happy to help with tweaks for up to 15 days after final turnover. After that, any additional changes would need a new inquiry and payment.

The Biggest Question
How is this going to help my business make more money or save me time?

Two ways, directly:

More bookings. A cohesive, professional look builds trust faster than an inconsistent one — and trust is what turns a scroll into a booking. Most people decide whether to book before they ever message you, based purely on what they see.

Time back. Right now you're probably designing your own posts, or not posting consistently because it takes too long. A template system means you spend minutes, not hours, on content — so you can spend that time on clients instead of Canva.

This isn't an expense — it's the front door to your business, built to work for you even when you're not thinking about it.
